Kenai River
Fishing
Alaska King Salmon, Silver, Red and Pink
Salmon, and Trophy Trout |
Alaska's mighty Kenai River is home to the world record
King Salmon (97 lbs 4oz). If you want to catch huge Alaska King Salmon,
this is where to do it. Kenai Kings average 35-60lbs and it's not uncommon to
catch Kings over 70 pounds.
The Kenai River is also famous for its
Red (Sockeye) Salmon fishing - they run strong from mid June through
August. Red Salmon are considered by many to be the best tasting Alaska Salmon
of all. We also target
Silvers (Coho),
Pinks (even numbered years - that means 2008 is a Pink Salmon year!),
Dolly Varden and
Rainbow Trout.
